New Update on 14.06.2021: FMGE 2021 - On June 18, 2021, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) will conduct the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE). NBE confirmed that the FMGE 2021 screening test will be conducted with COVID-19 proper behaviour, along with the release of admit cards.
Due to the continuing spread of COVID-19 in India, the Association of MD Physicians (AMD) has asked the Delhi High Court to postpone the Foreign Medical Graduate Exam 2021 (FMGE). FMGE 2022 - FMGE 2022 is administered by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) twice a year, in June and December. For the December session, the FMGE 2022 Application Form will be available. FMGE 2021 Pattern

- Mode of Examination: The examination will be conducted through the online mode.
- Duration of examination: The examination will be conducted within 2 hours and 30 Minutes.
- Types of Questions: The questions will be asked in the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Attempt Limit: There is no attempt limit of the FMGE Entrance test.
- Language: The questions will be asked in the English Language only.
- Number of Questions: There will be 300 questions that will be asked in the entrance test.
- Negative Marking: there will be no negative marking in the entrance test.
Eligibility Criteria for FMGE 2021
Medical graduates must fulfil the FMGE 2021 eligibility criteria to register for the FMGE screening test. The points are given below list the eligibility criteria of FMGE 2021.
- Aspiring candidates must be an Indian citizen or Overseas Citizen of India.
- Foreign Medical Graduates must possess primary medical qualification confirmed by the Indian Embassy concerned.
- Candidates have to mandatorily provide the documents/proofs in support of them having passed the final examination. The documents mentioned above must submit on or before November 31, 2019. In case of delay, the candidature of the candidate will cancel.
- Those aspirants who have completed their undergraduate medical education from New Zealand, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, United States of America are not required to appear for the FMGE 2020 exam since they already recognized for enrolment as a medical practitioner in the country.

How to fill the Application form for FMGE 2021?
The application form for the FMGE 2021 December session has been made available online. A link for online registration is provided on this page. Candidates will be required to fill the application form for FMGE 2021. They can fill the FMGE 2021 application form by following the instructions listed below:
Step 1: Candidates have visited the official website through the link provided(www.natboard.edu.in) and register by giving in their necessary details.
Step 2: In the next level, candidates will get confirmation of their registration when they receive their login credentials on their registered mobile number and email id.
Step 3: Then, with the login credential received, candidates are required to log in and submit their details like educational qualification, personal information, etc.
Step 4: The next step is to pay the FMGE 2021 application fee. An amount of Rs 5500/- has to be paid by candidates through debit/credit card or net banking.
Step 5: Candidates will then redirected to the confirmation page. They are advised to verify the details mentioned and then take a printout for further reference.

Application Correction Window FMGE 2021
In case of any Corrections in the FMGE 2020 application form, the authority has opened the FMGE 2020 application correction window from November 4 to 9. Medical graduates can change the details in the application from the link available above on this page. The following information cannot edit in the FMGE 2020 application form.

Any other pieces of information entered or document uploaded can be updated till the above-mentioned last date. Applicants must choose the medical school/institute/university from the drop-down list. Also, the correct city should be selected to find the respective medical college or university. It also uploads the scanned copies of the MBBS degree certificate, provisional pass certificates duly attested by Embassy of India, eligibility certificate issued by the MCI, and valid Indian passport of Student.
- The passport size photograph, signature, and thumb impressions should upload as per the specifications mentioned.
- The NBE authority notified that submitting incomplete applications, incorrect information, and uploading of illegible/unattested/unclear/false documents would not accept.
- In case of any other doubts, aspirants can contact the authority by emailing at [email protected] with the name of the sender, application ID, correspondence address, and mobile number. Also, they can call on the helpline number available in the prospectus.

FMGE Result 2021
On June 30, the FMGE 2021 result for the June session will be released on nbe.edu.in. The results of the NBE FMGE 2021 will be available in PDF format. When the FMGE result PDF 2021 is available, a link will be given on this page. The FMGE result will include the candidates' roll numbers, marks (out of 300), and qualifying status. NBE will issue the FMGE scorecard 2021 for the June session after the results are announced. Using their login details, qualified candidates will be able to download the FMGE 2021 scorecard. FMGE Qualifying Marks 2021
Only those candidates who achieve the necessary minimum score in FMGE 2021 will be considered eligible. Candidates for the June 2021 session must score at least 50% on the FMGE test, according to NBE. In the FMGE test, 50 percent of the marks are equal to 150 out of 300. Candidates who pass the FMGE 2021 will be eligible for provisional or permanent registration with the NMC or SMC.

FMGE 2021 Issuance of Pass Certificate
Candidates must obtain a registration certificate from the National Medical Council or a State Medical Council in order to practise medicine in India or pursue higher medical education. Only FMGE-qualified candidates are granted a provisional or permanent registration certificate, allowing them to continue their studies or practise medicine in the country. Candidates will receive an FMGE 2021 pass certificate after passing the FMGE medical screening examination. NBE will issue a notice for the issuance of FMGE 2021 June session pass certificates. Candidates must report to the specified venue according to the NBE's schedule in order to receive their FMGE pass certificate for the June 2021 session.

Exams 2021 - FAQ
Candidates can take FMGE three times. If a candidate is unable to clear the examinations they shall not be eligible to study/practice in India.
With the implementation of the NMC Act, FMGE will be replaced by the National Exit Test. However, this change is not expected before the academic year 2021.
No, a candidate will have to take the test on a pre-assigned computer at a designated FMGE 2021 test centre. A candidate can choose the test centre while filling the application form of FMGE.
FMGE practice tests are mock tests released by NBE. These tests are released to help aspirants get accustomed with the exam pattern of FMGE.
To apply for FMGE 2021, candidates will have to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 5,500 + 18% GST.
No, there is no age limit for the candidates appearing for FMGE 2021. However, the maximum number of attempts is limited to three.
