DTE Kerala M.Tech Admission 2020 - The Directorate of Technical Education, Kerala conducts DTE Kerala M.Tech Admission to offer admission to the candidates in Masters in Technology/Engineering. Directorate of Technical Education(DTE) Kerala will release the 2nd allotment list for admission into M.Tech courses for the academic year 2020-21on November 09, 2020, at 4 PM. Those applicants are wishing to get admission to the M.Tech course; they should be qualified in the GATE examination. Applicants should have to fill the application form of counseling through online mode on the provided schedule through authority. The authorities shall release the Kerala M.tech second seat allotment on November 9. The authorities released the first allotment list for Kerala M.Tech 2020 admissions on October 22. What is the Eligibility Criteria for DTE Kerala M.Tech Admission 2020?
The authorities have released the eligibility criteria for Kerala M.Tech 2020 admissions to be referred by all candidates. The conditions and requirements that the candidates have to meet have been listed out in the criteria. If the criteria are not met, then the candidature will be cancelled during the seat allotment process.

Candidates should have Indian nationality.

Candidates should have completed their graduation from AICTE /UGC approved Deemed Universities in India.

Candidates who started graduating from a foreign university have to obtain an equivalency certificate from A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technological University.

Candidates should have completed their graduation from an institution approved by AICTE/Deemed Universities in India with minimum aggregate marks of 60% in the qualifying exam. There are no minimum aggregate marks for SC/ST candidates, and they are required to pass. Minimum of 54% aggregate marks have to be secured by SEBC (OBC) candidates in their B.Tech qualifying exam.

Candidates who qualify AMIE/AMIETE examination with minimum 55% in Section B and a valid GATE score will be eligible for Kerala M.Tech admission 2020.

Those candidates who will be appearing for the final semester exam will also be eligible if they have passed all subjects up to the 6th semester (8th semester for B.Arch candidates). The confirmation of such candidates will be confirmed after they produce their qualifying degree before the university's date.

In case seats remain vacant, Non-GATE qualified candidates of Kerala will be given admission based on their B.Tech qualifying exam scores.
What is the Reservation Criteria for DTE Kerala M.Tech Admission 2020?
Candidates who belong to certain categories will be eligible for reservation as per the guidelines set by Govt. of India. Those candidates who will be applying for a reservation should produce the required certificates; otherwise, their reservation will be cancelled. Reservation for each category will be distributed after observing the general reservation rules of Kerala. Candidates belonging to SEBC (OBC) and OEC categories will have to produce a certificate that they belong to the community but do not belong to the Creamy Layer.

What about Kerala M.Tech Rank List 2020?
The authorities have released the rank list of Kerala M.Tech 2020 separately for government-aided and private institutions. Provisional rank list was released on October 2 while final one is released on October 9 for Kerala M.Tech admissions 2020. According to the GATE scores, the rank list will be prepared by the authorities. Candidates will check the provisional rank list and then verify their marks/category/branch and more. The authorities will release the final rank list to the authorities, and the authorities will accept no changes.
What is the Cutoff of DTE Kerala M.Tech Admission 2020?
The minimum marks required to secure by the candidates for higher chances of admission will be available in the cutoff of Kerala M.Tech 2020. The authorities will release the cutoff after each round of counselling is over. Various factors related to the examination, such as number of seats, number of candidates, previous year cutoff trends, and more, will be checked while preparing the cutoff.
What are the Details of DTE Kerala M.Tech Counselling 2020?
Qualified candidates can participate in the counselling of Kerala M.Tech 2020. The authorities are conducting two rounds of counselling to provide M.Tech admissions to all candidates. On the basis of the rank list, the candidates are called in for the counselling process. The allotment is being done based on GATE scores, preferences selected by the candidates, and availability of seats. Allotted candidates have to download their provisional allotment letter and confirm their admission by reporting to the allotted college and paying the admission fee. In the case of vacant seats, non-GATE candidates from Kerala will be allotted seats. If vacant seats are left even after that then non-GATE candidates from other states will be allotted seats.
What about DTE Kerala M.Tech Spot Admission 2020?
If vacant seats are still left, the authorities will conduct a centralized spot admission. All of the candidates listed out in the rank list will be able to participate in the spot admission. On being selected through spot admission, the candidates will have to join the respective institutions/ colleges on the prescribed dates to pay the admission fee. In case, seats remain vacant even after the centralized spot admission, then the respective institutions can conduct their spot admission. A separate rank list will be prepared for the same.
