DUET 2020
The DU(University of Delhi) conducts Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) on an annual basis for admitting students to the various UG and PG courses offered by the university. Registration for the students who appeared and successfully qualified the entrance exam for different courses. The DUET registration window starts in March 2020. DU offers admissions on the two bases, namely merit-based admissions and entrance exams based admissions. DUET 2020
The DUET online applications for the undergraduate level programs commenced from 30th May last year. Whereas, for the PG programs, it commenced began June. The DUET entrance exam will be performed in the computer-based mode by the NTA on behalf of the university. The DUET 2020 Examinations scheduled are yet to announced. What are the Eligibility Criteria for DUET 2020?
Students appearing for the DUET 2020 must ensure that they meet the eligibility for the course they are applying for. The DUET 2020 eligibility differs from courses to the course, and only eligible students will be allowed to appear for the entrance exam. DUET Application forms of the students who do not meet the eligibility will reject.
For B.Tech
- Aspirants must have successfully cleared their Class 12th examination and secured a minimum of 60% marks.
- Candidates need to have a minimum of 60% marks in four subjects that include mathematics as a compulsory subject.
- There is no age bar for candidates applying for admission to the undergraduate level courses based on DUET. However, for programs where regulatory bodies such as Medical Council of India (MCI), All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), Bar Council of India (BCI), National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Dental Council of India (DCI), have prescribed the minimum age requirement in their regulations students need to meet the required age criteria.
BA Hons Humanities and Social Sciences
- Candidates must have successfully cleared their Class 12th or equivalent examination with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Candidates need to have a minimum of 60% marks in four subjects in the last qualifying exam.
- There is no age bar for candidates applying for admission to the undergraduate level courses based on DUET.
B.A. Hons Multimedia and Mass Communication
- Candidates must successfully clear their class 12th or equivalent examination with a minimum of 75% aggregate marks.
- Aspirants must have obtained an aggregate of 75% marks in four subjects along with 85% marks in English. Candidates may include Mass Media Studies as an academic subject among the best four subjects.
- There is no such age criteria for the aspirants applying for admission to UG courses.
DUET PG 2020-Eligibility
Aspirants appearing for the DUET 2020 for the PG level courses can refer to the table below for the course-specific eligibility criteria
LLB
- Aspirants must have cleared their graduation degree and secured a minimum of 50% marks aggregate marks for the general category. The minimum qualifying marks for the OBC candidates and SC/ST category aspirants are 45 and 40 percent marks, respectively.
LLM
- Candidates must have cleared their 3 or 5 year LLB degree from a recognized university/college. The minimum qualifying marks for the general category are 50%, whereas, for OBC and SC/ST category, it is 45 and 40% marks, respectively.
MCA
- Aspirants should have successfully cleared their bachelor's degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
- Aspirants must have completed at least one paper in mathematics sciences.
M.Com
- M.Com Students must have completed their B.Com, B.Com (Hons.), B.A. (Hons.) Economics/equivalent degree from a recognized university. The minimum qualifying scores for the general category is 50%. Whereas for OBC and SC/ST category, it is 45% and 40% marks, respectively.
M.Tech (Microwave Electronics)
- Candidates must have passed their M.Sc. Electronics/M.Sc. Physics with specialization in Electronics/B.Tech./B.E. in Electrical/ Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/Instrumentation Engineering degree from a recognized university/college with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
M.Ed.
- Candidates must have passed B.Ed, B.A.B.Ed, B.Sc.B.Ed, B.El.Ed or D.El.Ed with a UG degree from any recognized university. Also, students must have secured 50% marks in the last qualifying examination.
DUET Registration Process-2020
The Delhi University expected to released the DUET 2020 registration forms in March 2020 for the UG-level courses and a few days later for the postgraduate level programs. The registrations will conduct in the online. DUET Candidates can check the official website to complete the registration process for the DUET 2020. The DUET application fee was INR 750 for the students belonging to General/OB/CW/Minorities and INR 300 for SC/ST/PWD Category candidates in the year 2019.
What are the DUET Exam Pattern 2020?
- Candidates appearing for the DUET 2020 must go through the exam pattern for the DUET exam. The DUET exam pattern will be different for various courses. Candidates advised checking the course-specific DUET exam pattern before appearing for the exam.
- The DUET exam pattern will help students gain complete information regarding the exam mode, time duration, total marks, marks allotted to the question, marking scheme, types of questions, and total number of questions.

Download DUET Admit Card 2020
- DUET 2020 Admit card will release in the 3rd week of June. The DUET admit cards for both the UG and PG level DUET 2020 exams will be released after the registration process concluded. The DUET 2020 Admit card will publish in the online. Candidates will be required to download the DUET admit card by visiting and logging on to the official website.
- Applicants need to present their DUET 2020 admit card at the examination center on the exam day. No applicants will be allowed entry to the center without a valid admit card.
- Applicants will also be required to carry along an original identity proof (PAN Card, Voter ID card, Passport, Driving License, Aadhaar Card) along with the DUET admit card to the examination center. Candidates advised to check the details mentioned on their admit card thoroughly, and in case of any error, they must immediately contact the examination authorities.
How to Know the DUET Answer Key 2020?
- The DUET Answer key for the entrance conducted for admission to the various courses offered by the Delhi University is uploaded directly on the University of Delhi and NTA websites.
- Aspirants appearing for the DUET 2020 can visit the official websites of DU or NTA to check the answer key. The DUET answer key for each course is released separately on the official portal.
- In case students find any corrections in the answers mentioned in the DUET answer key, they can raise their objections and register a complaint within the specified period after the release of the answer key as per NTA policy.
How to check the DUET Results 2020?
- The results for the DUET 2020 expected to be out in the mid-week of July 2020 by the exam conducting authority that is NTA. Students can check their DUET results 2020 in the online mode through the official websites of DU and NTA
- The DUET results have published in the PDF file format. The DUET results in 2020 constitute the marks obtained by the students in the entrance exam. Aspirants who qualify the DUET entrance examination will call in for counseling and seat allotment process.
DUET Cutoffs 2020
- The Delhi University(DU) will be releasing separate cutoff lists for different programs. DUET 2020 cutoff is the minimum marks that the candidate must secure to qualify the DUET 2020 examination.
- The cutoff list will differ basis the candidate's preferred institutes, courses, and category. Students who attain the required cutoff marks must log in to the admission portal and select the college and program in which they wish to take admission.
DUET Counselling 2020
- The DUET 2020 counseling expected to conducted in July-August 2020. Students who qualify DUET 2020 entrance exam will call in for counseling rounds. To be eligible to appear for the counseling rounds, the qualified candidates must first register themselves for the DUET 2020 counseling process.
- The exam authorities will be releasing separate merit lists for each of the courses wherein admissions are made based on the DUET 2020 exam. Students will be allotted seats based on the course their ranking in the course-specific merit list released by DUET authorities.

Exams 2021 - FAQ
DU Application Form 2020 – Delhi University will tentatively issue the DU admission 2020 application form as from June 20. Of both courses, the last date to apply will be July 4, 2020. The authority will provide for all the courses offered in the 90 affiliated DU colleges with a common DU application form.
