What is the Selection Procedure for DEI Entrance Test 2021?
Written Test:
The selection process for all candidates will be called for written and/or practical tests. For admission to B.Tech (Full Time), no written test will be conducted as their JEE (Mains) score will be considered. Representation in Written Objective Test is necessary for admission, and the candidate will appear in it at his/her own expense. Questions will be of objective type with and having four possible answers (only one correct). The written test scope would span over the level of the qualifying examination, along with questions on General Knowledge. There will be no negative marking. Personal Interview: Written-test and obtained at least 30% marks will be called for personal interview subject to a maximum of approximately five times the number of available seats in each course. All Scheduled Caste and Tribe candidates who satisfy the eligibility conditions and appear in the relevant written test and have scored at least 30% shall be called for the personal interview.
Final Selection:
The final selection for admission will be made based on the merit list prepared based on the following parameters.
- Educational Merit estimated from the marks obtained in various pre-qualifying and/or qualifying examinations.
- Marks scored in the Written Objective Test or practical test.
