New Update on 28-01-2023: CLAT 2023 registration - On consortiumofnlus.ac.in, the CLAT Application Form 2023 has been made available. The Consortium of NLUs has extended the application deadline to November 18, 2022. Students who are interested and qualified are invited to apply online for CLAT UG and CLAT PG by the Consortium of NLUs. On this website, candidates can access the direct link to the CLAT 2023 Application Form. CLAT 2023 Application Form Eligibility Criteria
UG Courses

There will be no upper age limit for UG Programme in CLAT 2023.

Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to appear in CLAT 2023 examination. However, they shall be required to produce evidence of their passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission, failing which they shall lose their right to be considered for admission.

As regards the minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2 or an equivalent examination), the candidates must have secured: Forty-five per cent (45%) marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to General/ OBC/ PWD/ NRI/ PIO/ OCI categories, Forty Percent (40%) marks or equivalent in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.

The result of the qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2) shall be submitted by the candidate at the time of admission failing which the candidate shall be ineligible for admission to the Course. In case of equal marks, the break of tie shall be by the following procedure and order as under: Higher marks in the component/ section on legal aptitude in the CLAT 2023 exam Higher age, Computerised draw of lots.
PG Courses

Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in April/May 2022 are also eligible to apply. No upper age limit is prescribed for appearing in CLAT 2023.Tie Breaker Rule: In case of equal marks, the break of tie shall be by the following procedure and order as under: i. Higher age, Computerised draw of lots.

An LL.B Degree or an equivalent examination with a minimum of Fifty per cent (50%) of marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to General/ OBC/ PWD/ NRI/ PIO/ OCI categories and Forty-Five per cent (45%) of marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST categories.
What are the steps to fill the CLAT 2023 registration?
The authorities will release the application form of CLAT 2023 in online mode through the CLAT Online Application Processing System (APS). Students have to fill the CLAT application form within the given deadline, as applications received after the last date will not accept. Step 1: Online Registration

The application form will have various fields like the name of the applicant, mobile number, and email id. Applicants will also have to enter and password.

After entering the above information, click on the Register tab.

On successful CLAT registration, a new candidate account would create, and OTP will send to the registered mobile number for account activation. Activate the account using the OTP.
Step 2: Filling the Clat Application Form
The candidate has to next login into the account to access the CLAT 2023 application using a registered mobile number and password. The CLAT application form will have various sections like personal, address, and educational details that have to fill adequately in the following information mention below.

In this part, one has to enter a name, date of birth, parent's name, nationality, the category under which admission sought, and gender.

Candidates should Enter address for correspondence, name of the state and district, and pin.

Students should enter the details like permanent address, name of the state and district, mobile number, and email id.

Candidates can choose from the two options - Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG).

Educational qualification - In this section, one has to enter the name of the Qualifying exam passed, board, exam status, month and year of passing, percentage of marks secured in the qualifying exam, etc.

Step 4: Application Fee
CLAT Applicants have to pay the application fee of Rs. 4000 (not including transaction charges) via online mode. Payment options available include - net banking/credit/debit cards. The application fee for SC/ST category is Rs. 3500 only.

Corrections to the CLAT 2023 registration
A CLAT application correction window is unlikely to be provided by the consortium. This means that once the application form is submitted, there is no way to change it. As a result, it is critical to exercise caution when completing the CLAT 2023 registration.

CLAT 2023 Application Form 2023 - FAQ
No, the CLAT application form will be available in online mode only. Also, the application will be the same for UG and PG courses.
CLAT authorities haven't set any upper age limit for admission to either UG or PG courses. So, candidates of any age group may apply, provided they meet the other eligibility criteria, including that of qualifying exam passed and minimum marks.
The CLAT 2023 application form has to be completed in one go. Meaning, if the candidate doesn't complete the form in one single attempt, they have to repeat the process from the beginning, except for registration which is a one-time process.
45% marks in qualifying exam (class 12th or equivalent) and 40% for the ST/SC candidates.
55% marks in case of candidate belonging from unreserved category and in case of reserved category (SC/ST) candidate should have 50% marks in the final year of the exam.
