What are the objectives of learning Sociology?

Course Structure for Class XII Sociology:

Sociology introduced as an elective subject at the senior secondary stage, Class 12. The Sociology syllabus is designed to help learners to reflect on what they hear, and students see in the course of every day in our lives. And develop a constructive attitude towards society in change. Sociology to equip a learner with the concepts of theoretical skills. The curriculum of Sociology at this stage should establish the students to understand the dynamics of human behavior in all its complexities. What are the course content in sociology for classXII?

Sociology subject studies society. The child’s familiarity with the community in which she /he lives in makes the study of Sociology a double-edged experience. At the level of Sociology studies, institutions such as family and kinship, class, caste, and tribe religion, and region- contexts with which children are familiar with, even if differentially.
