What is CAT?
CAT Exam 2021 is a computer-based test held in India to admission management programs in various B-schools in and across India. In this CAT Exam, the students' skills tested in multiple areas include Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability, Reading comprehension, data interpretation, and logical reasoning.
- At first, the exam was started by the Indian Institute of Management for the selection of students for the business administration programs of IIMs. Every year, the CAT exam is conducted by one of the Indian Institute of Management. Later, in the year 2011, it has made public that other institutes such as Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and Indian Institute of Science (IISc) should use the CAT scores, instead of the JMET to select students for their management programs.

What are the detailed Eligibility Criteria of CAT 2021?
Not everyone can attend the CAT Exam 2020, which will conduct in the upcoming months. To attend the CAT Exam 2020, candidates have to meet the eligibility criteria mentioned in the CAT Notification 2020 Pdf. - Aspirants must hold a Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks. In case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PWD)/Differently Abled (DA) category) awarded by any recognized University or institute, they should have at least an equivalent CGPA of 45%.
- Moreover, candidates who are studying in the final year of their bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification and who have completed their degree waiting for their results can also be eligible to apply for the CAT Exam.
- If selected, he/she will be allowed to join the management program, only if he/she submits a certificate within the specified date.
- There will be no lower or upper age limit specified for appearing in CAT exam 2020. Students who possess an equivalent exam degree recognized by MHRD, Government of India (including AMICE of the Institution of Civil Engineers) are also Qualify to apply for CAT Exam 2020.

What are the Documents Needed to fill the CAT 2021 Application Form?
It’s quite easy to apply for the CAT Exam 2020 by visiting the official website. The candidates have to keep ready a few documents along with them while applying for the CAT 2020. This is because, there are so many details needed to fill in the CAT 2021 application form, such as personal details, academic details, etc. Here are the few documents that one should keep ready along with them.
- Unique Email Address to apply for CAT 2021.
- Net banking/Credit Card/Debit Card details to pay the application fee for CAT Exam 2021
- Keep your Class 12 certificate with you as you need to enter your name the same as in the 12th Diploma/degree certificate.
- Keep your Birth Certificate ready along with you.
- 10th, 12th Mark sheets, degree final year certificate, professional exam, and master's degree certificate.
- Work Experience certificate.
- Scanned images of Passport size photo and signature of you. Keep your photo ready within the dimensions of 35mm X 45mm, and the photo should not be more than 6 months old and should have a white background.
- Ensure that your signature's scanned image is within the dimensions of 80mm X 35mm.

CAT 2020 Exam is conducted mainly for admission to MBA/PGDM programs offered at 20 IIMs. Apart from IIMs, other top management institutes like FMS, MDI, NTIE, SP Jain, Department of Management Studies at IITs, Manipal University, ITM Delhi, Chandigarh University, and over 115 management B-schools also accept CAT score as qualifying criteria for their management programs. Previous Year Cut Off marks for CAT Exam
Cut off marks for any exam are of two types: the qualifying cut off marks and the other one is the cutoff marks that are varied according to the institutions. Some of the factors that influence CAT cut off marks are as follows.

The cut-off marks of CAT 2019 for IIM institutions falls between 90-99 marks percentile.
