BITS Pilani announces the BITSAT Results of 2019 on the already given dates. BITSAT Results are published online and students can check it through logging in using their application number and password. BITSAT Results are announced in the form correct and wrong answers and total score acquired by the candidate. Immediately after the entrance test is completed, students can check the score report the very next day through online mode. What will happen when two or more students score same marks?

Once the BITSAT Results are announced, there are chances that two or more of the candidates would have scored same marks. During these situations, it may be difficult to decide which candidate’s score is to be considered as higher marks. To solve these score tie, there are certain criteria been followed by the admission authority. When there is a tie between the candidate’s score, the below is followed.

When two or more candidates have same score, the marks scored in mathematics or biology is considered. The higher marks is considered as the higher rank.
If the score in mathematics or biology is also same, then their score in the subject Physics is considered and ranked accordingly.
If their score in physics is also the same, then Chemistry marks are considered.
When all the BITSAT scores of the above subjects are the same, then in order to break the tie, the authorities will compare the Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology marks of 12th exams and decide the rank.

What is BITSAT Admit List and Waiting List?

The admission authority BITS Pilani will prepare the admit list with the name of the candidates who had been qualified for admission after every iteration. Candidates should be checking the result of the iteration rounds in order to know if their name is in the admit list. Those whose name is on the BITSAT Admit list will be able to attend counselling and get admission into the campus. After every iteration round, the authority will also release the BITSAT Waiting list. Names of the candidates whose name is on the BITSAT waiting list are the ones who are kept on hold. The candidates who are on the waitlist may get chance to enter into the admit list in the later iteration rounds.
