BITS HD Application Form 2021

BITS HD candidates must fill in the details regarding degree, test centre preference and other personal information. They also have to upload the scanned images of their recent photograph and signature. If the candidate is applying via the GATE/GPAT route, they have to upload a self-attested scanned copy of their GATE/GPAT scorecard. Both online and offline methods are available for the candidates to pay the BITS HD Application Fee 2021. They can make the BITS HD offline fee payment in cash. 

How to fill the BITS HD Application Form?

Follow the steps given below to fill the BITS HD Application Form 2021 successfully -

  • First, the candidates must register for the BITS HD Exam by submitting their Name, Date of Birth, Gender, and Email ID.
  • Next, the candidates must provide their valid academic, personal, and communication details. Then the candidate has to choose their preferred three exam centres. GATE qualified candidates must provide the related details.
  • Candidates should upload the scanned copy of the following documents online:
    • Passport size photograph and signature in JPEG/JPG format.
    • GATE/GPAT Scorecard if applicable.
  • BITS HD Application Fee Payment: The candidates should pay the BITS HD 2021 Admission Test the required application fee. Payment of the fee can be made online (net banking/credit card/debit card) or offline mode (cash payment at any ICICI bank branches).

BITS HD Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs. 3150 for the BITS HD application form 2021 and candidates seeking admission through GATE score have to pay Rs. 1000. The application form fees is non-refundable in nature. Keep the BITS HD payment receipt for future reference.

BITS HD Admit Card 2021

BITS HD Admit Card 2021 will be released online on the official website for the candidtes to download it as there is no provision to send the BITS HD Admit Card 2021 individually to the candidates' email ID. The BITS HD Admit Card 2021 has details such as exam centre address, exam timing, roll number, and photograph. It is compulsory to carry the BITS HD Admit Card 2021 along with a photo ID to the exam centre without which the candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall. BITS HD Admit card can be downloaded by providing the required login credentials on the website. Candidates are advised to check the details on the admit card and in case of any discrepancies, they can immediately inform the authorities.

BITS HD Exam Pattern 2021

Candidates must know the BITS HD Exam Pattern 2021 to be aware of what type of questions will be asked in the exam. The BITS HD question paper will be objective in nature i.e. Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). Every correct answer will be granted 3 marks and for every incorrect answer 1 mark will be deducted. BITS HD Exam 2021 will be a computer-based test. BITS HD Syllabus 2021

The BITS HD test 1 syllabus is the same for all the applicants, but the BITS HD test 2 syllabus depends upon the discipline that the candidate desires to pursue and the qualifying degree. The BITS HD 2021 Syllabus is split into two. The BITS HD Test 1 deals with English language skills, Logical Reasoning, and Class 11 and 12 Maths. BITS HD Test 2 would focus on student’s knowledge of the primary subjects of his/her discipline, like Engineering and Pharmacy. BITS HD Exam Centres 2021

All candidates can choose the BITS HD Exam centre as per their preference. The exam is held in 50 BITSAT Centres across India and one International centre in Dubai, UAE. Candidates planning to appear for the test in India can prefer three exam centres per their priority. Those planning to appear for the test in Dubai can set the preference for one BITS HD centre only.

BITS HD Results 2021

Candidates can download the BITS HD results 2021 by entering the credentials such as Application ID/Email ID and password. The BITS HD Results 2021 will be announced on the official website. There is no provision to send a copy of the result to the candidate's email ID or residential address.

Candidates must clear the BITS HD minimum cut-off marks to participate in the counselling process. Based on the BITS HD merit list 2021, candidates will be called for the counselling process.

Validity: BITS HD merit list 2021 is valid only for one year, i.e. it is valid for granting admission to Higher Degree Courses only for the academic year 2021.

How to Download BITS HD Result?

  • Step 1: Visit the Official Website
  • Step 2: On the left side of the home page, candidates can find the "Results" link. Follow this link to go to the result login page.
  • Step 3: Candidates have to enter valid BITS HD 2021 application/registration number and password/date of Birth and click the "Submit" button.
  • Step 4: The candidate must download the BITS HD result and then take at least two printouts of the same for the counselling and admission process.

BITS HD Selection Procedure 2021

The candidate must first give the entrance examination, either the BITS HD exam or GATE/GPAT. Based on the preference of the candidate and cutoff decided by each institute, the merit list/admission offer will be put out by the Birla Institute of Technology and Science on the official website. Candidates must appear for counselling on the scheduled dates based on their BITS HD result and admission offer. 

BITS HD Counselling Process 2021

The BITS HD Counselling Process 2021 will start soon after the results' announcement, and the qualified candidates should attend without fail for seat confirmation. Candidates who clear the cutoff will get their name featured in the BITS HD Merit List, which will be used for counselling. Selected candidates can choose the stream/campus based on their score/ranking. Cut off, and merit list will be made available on the official website. Candidates have to submit admission fee within the stipulated time; else, their BITS HD Seat Allotment will get vacant.

Document Verification: Candidates should carry all the required documents during counselling for document verification.

  • Original and zerox of ID proof such as Aadhaar Card, PAN card, etc.
  • Minimum 4 passport size photographs.
  • Original and photocopy of BITS HD admit card.
