New Update onn 11-05-2021: AP PGECET 2021 - Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET) is a state level common entrance test for admission into regular PG Courses in Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy and Planning (ME / M.Tech. / M.Pharmacy/Graduate level Pharm-D (Post Baccalaureate)) courses. The AP PGECET 2021 Candidates can fill their AP PGECET 2021 application form Tentatively from the month of May. AP PGECET 2021 will be conducted by Andhra University, Vishakhapatnam on behalf of APCHE. Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Engineering Entrance Test (AP PGECET) is conducted every year. It is a state-level entrance test AP PGECET 2021. AP PGECET 2021 Eligibility
Candidates must check AP PGECET eligibility before applying for the examination:
- Nationality: Candidates should be an Indian citizen.
- Domicile Certificate: Candidates must have domicile certificate of Andhra Pradesh state.
- Qualification: Candidates must have B.Tech, B.Pharma degree or its equivalent from any recognized institute.
- Marks Criteria: Candidates must secure minimum of 50% (45%marks for reserved category) marks in their qualifying examination.
- Fitness Certificate: Candidates should have fitness certificate.
- Appearing Candidates: Candidates those are appearing in their final year will also be eligible to apply.
- Score Card: Candidates those have GPAT and GATE score card can also apply.
AP PGECET 2021 Exam Pattern
In the given section we have mentioned AP PGECET exam pattern:
- Mode of Exam: The examination will be held through online mode.
- Type of Questions: Multiple choice questions will be asked in the examination.
- Time Duration: Total 2 hours will be provided to solve the questions paper.
- Language: Questions will be asked in English language.
- Number of Questions: Total 120 questions will be asked in the question paper.
- Marking Scheme: One mark will be awarded for each correct answer.
- Negative Marking: No marks will be deducted for wrong answer.
AP PGECET Application Form 2021
- The AP PGECET application form filling process will start 1st week of March. Aspirants need to fill in their correct information in the application form.
- The application process will continue until the 1st week of April. In case of any mistake, candidates can correct it when the application window opens.
- They need to upload a photograph and signature at the time of filling the application form. Must check the application form before the final submission of it.
- Please take a copy of the application form and keep it for further process.
AP PGECET Application Fee-2021
- AP PGECET Application fee will be Rs. 1000/- for General/OBC candidates and SC/ST students fee will be Rs. 500/-. The AP PGECET late fee will be Rs.2000/-.
- Students can pay their fees online via debit/credit card or net banking and can also pay the fee offline at the AP online centers. Note that candidates should take the fee receipt from AP online centers.
AP PGECET Exam Pattern 2021
- The exam will organize through online mode.
- AP PGECET Exam will conduct in the English language only.
- Total Question: There will be a total of 120 questions in the examination.
- AP PGECET Question will ask in multiple-choice format.
- Total Marks: The question paper will be 120 marks.
- There will be no negative marking for the wrong answers.

- Linear Algebra, Differential Calculus, Numerical methods.
- Numerical Methods: Atmosphere, Airplane Performance, Static Stability, Dynamic Stability.
- Determination of Trajectory and Orbital Period in Simple Cases, Orbit Transfer.
- Basic Fluid Mechanics, Air Foils and Wings, Wind Tunnel Testing, Structural Dynamics.
Chemical Engineering
- Differential Equations, Probability, and Statistics, Numerical Methods.
- Process Calculations and Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics and Mechanical Operations, Heat Transfer, Mass Transfer.
Nano Technology
- Differential Equations, Probability, and Statistics, Numerical Methods.
- Torsional vibration, Simple Stresses and Strains, Stresses on Inclined Plane, Principal Stress and Principal Planes, Mohr’s Circle, Shearing Force and Bending Moment, Types of Loads, 2 -Dimensional Stress Systems, Torsional Vibration.
- Indices for Planes and Directions, Structures of Common Metallic Materials, Crystal Defects, Point, Line and Surface Defects, Crystal Systems, Space Lattice, and Unit Cells.
Download AP PGECET Admit Card 2021
AP PGECET 2021 hall ticket will release, Candidates, can download the admit card from the site. Students need to fill in their registration number, date of birth and need to choose an exam paper for the entrance. In the admit card, students can get the information regarding their date of exam, the center of exam, time of the exam, and it will also contain the roll number of the candidates. Candidates must bring they are admitted card for the examination. Without a hall ticket, a candidate will not permit to give an exam.
How to check the AP PGECET Result 2021?
AP PGECET Result will declare in the third week of May 2020 on the website. The AP PGECET result will make available online only. For obtaining AP PGECET, 2020, rank candidates must secure 25% marks in the examination that is 30 marks out of 120 marks. For SC/ST students, there are no minimum qualifying marks for securing rank. AP PGECET Merit list will prepare according to the courses offered.
AP PGECET Counselling 2021
AP PGECET 2021 counseling will start soon. Candidates can select a college and a course after verifying their certificates through one of the given helpline centers. Counseling will complete in various steps.
- APSCHE will publish the notification for the counseling in the newspaper and website and will place the details of counseling indicating dates, ranks of candidates, and a list of helpline centers. Students who will not verify their certificates will not be eligible for further process.
- Students can change their options any number of times during the allotted time and can freeze their seats. The candidate’s final allotment of the position will place on the website. Candidates can download allotment orders and must report through a self-reporting system to the allotted college. These both reporting systems are mandatory for the candidates; otherwise, their candidature will get canceled.
