New Update on 16.03.2023: AILET 2023 - The NLU of Delhi is hosting AILET 2023. The AILET 2023 2nd Merit List for BA LL.B (Hons.) and the AILET 2023 1st Merit List for LLM under the Foreign Nationals and OCI/PIO Category have both been made available by NLU Delhi online. While the LLM second merit list will be announced on January 30, 2023. The test was administered on December 11, 2022.

Eligibility Conditions for AILET 2023

For B.A LLB

Candidates who are applying must have completed their 10th Standard and Intermediate from the recognized college or university.

Candidates can apply for this AILET Exam through online mode.

No age limit to apply for this All India Law Entrance Test.

Must secure 50% of marks in the AILET Examination.
For LLM course

Students who have completed their LLB or the course that is equivalent to LLB can apply for the AILET Exam.

Aspirants should graduate from a recognized college or university.

General Candidates have to secure 55% of marks.

BC/ SC/ ST can secure 50% of marks in the AILET Exam.

Candidates who are pursuing the final year of their graduation can also apply for this All India Law Entrance Test.
For PhD

Candidates who have secured a Master’s degree from the recognized college or university are eligible to apply for this examination.

General Categories should secure 55% of marks while Reserved categories can score 50% of marks in the AILET Exam.
AILET 2023 Application

The application form is available from first week of January.

Candidates are advised to enter the email Id and mobile number to fill the application form.

After creating the registration id, candidates have to click on ‘National Law University.’

AILET 2023 Admit Card
The All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) admit card will be issued before the exam on April 2022. The AILET 2023 Exam will be held on May 1st, 2022. AILET 2023 Syllabus
Candidates can check the AILET 2023 syllabus given below check the syllabus and prepare accordingly.
Syllabus for English:
English section will include questions from vocabulary, synonyms, antonyms, word usage, Para jumble, grammar, reading comprehension, and foreign words/ phrases, etc.
Syllabus for Legal Aptitude:
In this section, important topics are strict liability, the law of crimes, torts, vicarious liability, contracts, and constitutional law, legal awareness and international law, etc.
Syllabus for Reasoning:
Logical reasoning will be based on the topics series, directions, syllogism, analogies, blood relations, critical reasoning, etc.
Syllabus for GK and Current Affairs:
The questions are from current affairs, sports, awards and honours, internal events, UN bodies, history, general science, economics, geography, civics, eminent personalities, etc.
AILET 2023 Exam pattern
All the candidates who have applied for the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) For BA LLB, LLM, PhD, can check the exam pattern from the official website and this page. The criteria for negative marking will be based on the formula 0.25*4=1, which means per the wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted. The Pattern of the AILET Exam will be different for BA LLB, LLM, Ph.D. Courses. So, without knowing the AILET 2023 Exam Pattern, you cannot score well in the test.

AILET 2023 Result
After the release of the final answer, key NLU releases a merit list for AILET 2023 with the names of all qualified candidates. Candidates can check their result online at www.nludelhi.ac.in. AILET 2023 result contains the category wise distribution of seats. All those candidates who can check their name in the merit list can appear for the counselling round of AILET 2023, and then they can pay the amount of course fee to complete the admission process.

AILET 2023 Counselling
After the declaration of result, NLU calls all the selected candidates must appear for the counselling process of AILET 2023. Candidates who are qualified for AILET admission to B.A.LL.B and L.L.M. courses are required to appear for AILET 2023 counselling. However, candidates who have qualified AILET 2023 for admission to PhD courses are required to submit their research proposal. NLU(National Law University) sends the call letter to all selected candidates individually via email and speed post. At the time of counselling, candidates are required to submit original copies of all the required certificates and pay the amount of admission fee to complete the admission process.
