- AIIMS, New Delhi, has released AIIMS MBBS exam dates. The exam will conduct on May 30 and 31, 2020, for admission to around 1205 MBBS seats offered by 15 institutes located in New Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Guntur, Jodhpur, Nagpur, Patna, Raipur, Rishikesh, Gorakhpur, Raebareli, Kalyani, Bathinda, Deogarh and Bibinagar (Telangana).
- AIIMS MBBS Eligibility 2020 will cover the parameters such as age, qualification, minimum qualifying percentile, among others. Aspirants must Eligible for Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with an aggregate of 60% for the general/OBC category and 50% for SC/ST candidates. Aspirants who will not satisfy the eligibility criteria will not be considered to take the AIIMS MBBS computer-based entrance exam. AIIMS MBBS 2020- Age Limit
- Students completed the age of 17 years as on December 31, 2020.
- Applicants born on or after January 02, 2004, will not be eligible to apply for AIIMS.
What are the Academic Qualifications for AIIMS MBBS 2020?
- Students should have passed Class 12 under the 10+2 scheme/senior school certificate examination (CBSE) or Intermediate Science (I.Sc.) or an equivalent examination from a recognized University/Board from any state with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as the main subject.
- Students who will be appearing for the Class 10+2 board examination in the year 2019 are also eligible to apply for the medical entrance examination.
- Candidates who have or are appearing at the qualifying examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and expect to pass the exam with the qualifying percentile as specified are eligible for the test, provided they have submitted the document of passing the qualifying examination with the required subjects and percentile.
AIIMS MBBS 2020 Eligibility – Minimum marks
Applicants can obtain a minimum aggregate percentage of marks in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The qualifying percentile for Class 12 is different for various categories, as mentioned below.
- General and OBC candidates – 60%
- SC/ST candidates – 50%
- PwD candidates - 45%

AIIMS MBBS 2020, the candidate should be an Indian citizen. Aspirants who are Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) and Foreign nationals are also eligible to appear for UG entrance exam.
What is the Eligibility for OCIs/NRIs/ Foreign Nationals Candidates for AIIMS MBBS 2020?
The OCI registered Candidates under Section 7A of Citizenship Act 1955 and NRIs are also Qualify to apply for the AIIMS entrance test. Students need to submit proof of registration as an OCI under Section 7A to b eligible for the test.
AIIMS MBBS 2020 Eligibility- Foreign Nationals
- Apart from the total seats, seven seats reserved for foreign nationals in AIIMS, New Delhi only. The Government of India will nominate such aspirants. They must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in their Immediate Science or an equivalent examination to be eligible for admission to the MBBS course in AIIMS institute.
- For entry, foreign candidates need to contact the Indian Mission/Post abroad in their country and the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi, for the nomination. The admission to foreign nationals will not grant based on AIIMS MBBS scores.
What are the Changes for AIIMS 2020 eligibility?
As mentioned in the previous year's information, the minimum marks to be secured by PWD aspirants lowered to 45%. Earlier, the minimum percentage to achieve for PWD was 50%.
