India and Spain signed seven agreements after the Prime Minister Narendra Modi visit to Spain.
The agreements are:

Memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Cooperation in Organ Transplantation
MoU on Cooperation in Cyber Security
MoU on Cooperation in Renewable Energy
MoU on Technical Cooperation in Civil Aviation
Agreement on visa waiver for holders of diplomatic passports.
MoU between Foreign Service Institute and Diplomatic Academy of Spain.

United States of America for the first time successfully tested its defence system against an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM).
A ground-based interceptor was launched at a California air base and shot down a mock ballistic missile.
It was the first live-fire test against a simulated ICBM for the Ground-Based Missile Defense.

Scientists at IIT Kharagpur has come up with a new technology known as ‘soil-to-soil’ manufacturing technology for manufacturing cheaper, quicker and pollution-free.
The Project is funded by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Department of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Human Resource Development.

Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) for fodder acreage assessment using satellite observation and space technology.

World No Tobacco Day is observed around the world every year on May 31 by the World Health Organization (WHO).
The theme for World No Tobacco Day 2017, is "Tobacco – a threat to development".
The day commemorates about the tobacco industry poses to the sustainable development of all countries, including the health and economic well-being of their citizens.
The first ever women television channel “Zan TV (or Women’s TV)” started in Kabul, Afghanistan.
Founder of Zan TV is Hamid Samar.
The main purpose to launch the women TV channel is to highlight the rights of Afghan women and to improve their status and ensure their equity with men in the conservative society.
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will soon introduce currency notes of one rupee denomination.
The notes, which have already been printed by the Government of India, are legal tender under the Coinage Act, 2011.
The new Re.1 rupee will be pink-green in colour.
The note will also feature an image of the ‘Sagar Samrat’ oil exploration rig.
