    The Union Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) has  launched the Vidyanjali Mobile App  that can be used by anyone to register for volunteer work at government schools on 16 June 2016.     Annual day fishing ban in Tamil Nadu begins

    The 45-day annual ban on deep sea fishing along Tamil Nadu's East coast will come into force from  17 June 2016.About 10,000 mechanised boats would not go for fishing during the ban, aimed at facilitating breeding of fish and conservation of fish stock in marine ecology .
