World Hepatitis Day (WHD) takes places every year on 28 July and brings the world together to raise awareness of the global burden of viral hepatitis and to influence real change.

The Mumbai Metro One Private Limited announced the launch of India’s first Mobile Ticketing System ‘OnGo’ recently.
It will help commuters to buy their tickets on their mobile phones.
Commuters will also be able to book tickets for future journeys up to seven days in advance using the system.

Scientists including one of Indian origin have developed new Artificial intelligence (AI) software called SurfNet that can create three dimensional (3D) models from 2D photographs.
SurfNet software using hundreds of thousands of 2D shapes of objects can reconstruct it a model in 3Dimensions.
It can be used in robotics, object recognition and even self-driving cars. SurfNet will give them the ability to understand the 3D environment around them using standard 2D cameras.
