For the first time in the country, a team of Indian scientists claimed to have discovered an "extremely large supercluster of galaxies", Saraswati, in the universe.

India has contributed an additional one million dollars to a United Nations Partnership Fund to support sustainable development projects across the developing world.
The India-UN Development Partnership Fund was set up last month as a partnership between India and the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC).
