• According to the company's stock filing, the board of directors authorized the appointment based on the Nomination, Remuneration, and Compensation Committee's recommendations. According to the exchange filing, she takes the place of Ajay Srinivasan, who is taking on new responsibilities inside the company.

• Mulye, the Executive Director of ICICI Bank, will join Aditya Birla Capital on June 1, 2022, and will serve as CEO for a month alongside Srinivasan to facilitate a smooth leadership transition. Following this time, she will resume her duties as Aditya Birla Capital Limited CEO.

• She will be the first woman to join the Aditya Birla Management Corporation board of directors, the firm's primary decision-making body.

• She holds the designation of Chartered Accountant. She is responsible for local and international wholesale banking, proprietary trading, markets, and transaction banking at ICICI Bank.
