Covaxin is a indigenous vaccine developed by Bharat Biotech International Ltd. It is a highly purified whole virus particle that inactivates SARS-Cov-2. It is formulated by "Algel-IMDG", which contains chemically absorbed TLR7/8 as an adjuvant, which can be attached to aluminum hydroxide gel to generate the necessary type of immune response without harming the body.
