Ulrich Lehner's, the Chairman of Germany's ThyssenKrupp, has resigned after pressure from unhappy shareholders over his performance. Guido Kerkhoff is now the acting CEO of the company.
This is the second major departure in the company after the CEO, Heinrich Hiesinger, resigned two weeks ago. These resignations have come a few weeks after ThyssenKrupp and Tata Steel finalized an agreement to set up a European steel Joint Venture. ThyssenKrupp's large investors’ discontent with the terms of the deal.
