The debt to GSDP ratio was 22%, lower than the limit set by Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management(FR8M) Act which is 25%. iv. 14.2% was the GSDP rate for the year 2017-18 and 2016-17.

Telangana records 15% GSDP growth in FY19 with Rs. 8,66,875 crore

24 May 2019 Current Affairs: Telangana recorded 15% Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) growth for the Financial year ended March 31 , 2019 with Rs.8,66,875 crore.
For the year 2018, it stood at Rs. 7,53,804 crore. 
The capital expenditure for the year was Rs. 47,038 crore and this was the main reason for recording the highest growth rate.
The total capital expenditure from 2014-15 to 2018-19 was Rs. 1,64,51 9 crore.
Primary sector grew by 10.9%, secondary sector by 14.9% and tertiary sector registered a grovvth of 15.5%.
