Tamim Iqbal 1st Bangladeshi to reach 5,000 ODI runs
15 October 2016 Current Affairs: Tamim Iqbal has just created history. In the 3rd and the deciding ODI between Bangladesh and England, Tamim Iqbal became the first Bangladeshi batsman to make 5000 runs in ODI cricket.

The dashing left handed opener, who is 27 years old, took 159 ODI’s to achieve this accomplishment. Iqbal is entering his peak years as a batsman.
