Sheikh Hasinas Awami League-led alliance won 288 of the 298 seats in the December 30 election. President Abdul Hamid administered the oath of office to 71-year-old Hasina at the Bangabhaban. This is Hasina's fourth term in office overall.

Sheikh Hasina sworn in as Bangladesh PM for 3rd consecutive term

08 January 2019 Current Affairs: Sheikh Hasina’s Awami League-led alliance won 288 of the 298 seats in the December 30 election.
President Abdul Hamid administered the oath of office to 71-year-old Hasina at the Bangabhaban.
This is Hasina's fourth term in office overall.
Hasina will lead a Cabinet of 24 ministers, 19 ministers of state and three state ministers.
Hasina was first elected prime minister in 1996 and then again in 2008 and 2014.
