Seven Indian boxers enter quarters of Thailand International Tournament
23 July 2019 Current Affairs: There are 247 boxers from 37 countries are taking part in the tournament to test themselves against some of the world's best pugilists ahead of the World Championships slated later in the year. Five women and six men from India will meet and they will continue till July 27.
Asian Championships silver-medallist Deepak Singh among the three Indian boxers to enter the quarterfinals of the Thailand International Tournament in Bangkok
Former India Open gold-medallist Manisha Mount and Ashish Kumar are the Indians to enter the last-eight stage. 
Deepak got performance in 49 Kilogram category,
They defeat Morocco team.
Manisha stormed into the quarterfinal after out-punching Thailand's Sajeewani Srimali by 5-0 in 57 Kilogram category.
In the 75 Kilogram category, Ashish won against Abhisit Kanankhokkhruea.
Nikhat Zareen won against Australia's Tasmyn Benny.
Manju Rani won against Chantilath Daomayuly of Laos.
