Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take part in Mahamastak-abhisheka Mahotsav of Bhagawan Bahubali at Shravana-belagola in Karnataka
19 February 2018 Current Affairs: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Karnataka.

He is scheduled to take part in the 88th Mahamastakabhisheka Mahotsav of Bhagawan Bahubali in Shravanabelagola.

Mr. Narendra Modi will also inaugurate the newly carved 630 steps on the Vindhyagiri hill that takes the disciples to the top for a darshan of the 58.8 feet tall monolithic statue of Bahubali. 

Later, he will flag off the Palace Queen Humsafar Express between Mysuru and Udaipur.

He will also dedicate to the nation electrification of the railway line between Mysuru and Bengaluru.

He will declare Naganahalli railway station as a satellite terminal station and lay the foundation stone for the eight-lining of the Mysuru-Bengaluru highway.

The Prime Minister will also inaugurate a new block of the ESI hospital in the city. He will address a public rally in Mysuru.
