24 October 2016 Current Affairs: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched a campaign through which people can send their Diwali greetings and messages to the soldiers to boost their morale.
The messages can be sent under the #Sandesh2Soldiers campaign on the Narendra Modi App, through MyGov.in, and also through All India Radio. PM Modi will be leading the campaign.
The 360-degree campaign includes a four-minute video featuring Modi, that the PMO hopes will “make waves” across social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. The video, which was released on Saturday, opens with a child writing a letter to an unknown soldier.
