Pakistani Batsman Jamshed Suspended from all forms of Cricket
16 February 2017 Current Affairs: The Left-handed opening batsman of Pakistan Nasir Jamshed on February 13 has been provisionally suspended from all forms of cricket by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for violating its anti-corruption code.

PCB is investigating into the corruption scandal that hit the Pakistan Super League.

Earlier PCB had suspended Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Latif, the two Islamabad United players for being involved in the PSL corruption scandal.

According to the sources, the suspended Pakistan players Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Latif had claimed during their questioning by anti-corruption officials that Jamshed had asked them to meet with the person suspected to be part of an international match fixing.

But the exact nature of his involvement has not been made clear. The 27-year-old has played in two Tests, 48 one-day internationals and 18 Twenty20 matches for Pakistan.
