Operation Milap- Delhi Police Crime Branch rescued 333 children in 7 months
10 July 2019 Current Affairs: Delhi Police Crime Branch rescued 333 children from the Capital. 
These children were missing since January 2019.
They were missing from various parts of the country.
The Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch) Rajiv Ranjan tracked down 57 people, including 14 minors from various areas in the national capital.
Most of these children have been rescued from bus stands, railway stations and other crowded places in the city. 
During the last one week, the AHTU found 15 people reported missing or kidnapped in Delhi.
The operation Milap under which children are rescued was launched in December 2014. Under this project, the Anti Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) of the Delhi The police develops information rescues the trafficked or kidnapped person and arrests the kidnappers.
The rescued children are counselled.
Police are trying to find out the parents of the children rescued.

About Operation Milap: 
It was launched in December 2014 
Main aim : To rescue children. Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) formed under the ‘Milap’ develops information, rescues the trafficked or kidnapped children and arrests the kidnappers.
Under this ambitious initiative, counseling & requisite medical attention has also been given to the rescued children wherever required.
