Odisha being ‘focus state’ of World Food India-2017 set to get investments from Amul worth around Rs.250 Crores
06 November 2017 Current Affairs: Odisha being the ‘focus state’ of mega event World Food India-2017 (WFI), the state set to get investments from Amul worth around Rs.250 Crores.

With an aim to tap huge diary potential of Odisha, Gujarat based dairy cooperative, Amul announced that it will invest around Rs 250 crore in the State. 

It is the second biggest market for Amul in India.

Currently, there is a supply gap of 30 lakh liters of milk per day in the State.
