Novak Djokovic beats Andy Murray to win first French Open title
06 June 2016 Current Affairs: Novak Djokovic is a Serbian professional tennis player who is currently ranked world No.1 in men's singles tennis by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). He is generally considered one of the greatest tennis players of all time. 

He is coached by former Slovak tennis player Marián Vajda and former German tennis player and six-time Grand Slam champion Boris Becker. Djokovic has won 12 Grand Slam singles titles, a total which is ranked fourth in history (tied with Roy Emerson), and has held the No. 1 spot in the ATP rankings for a total of 200 weeks. By winning three Grand Slam titles in 2011. 

French Open : The French Open, often referred to as Roland Garros is a major tennis tournament held over two weeks between late May and early June at the Stade Roland Garrosin Paris, France. Named after the French aviator Roland Garros, it is the premier clay-court ennis championship event in the world and the second of four annual Grand Slam tournaments, the other three being the Australian Open, Wimbledon and the US Open. Roland Garros is the only Grand Slam event held on clay and ends the clay-court season.

Because of the slow-playing surface and the five-set men's singles matches without a tiebreak in the final set, the event is widely considered to be the most physically demanding tennis tournament in the world.
