Judge of the Bombay HC Satyaraujan Dharmadhikari resigns

The second senior-most judge of the Bombay High Court (HC), Justice Satyaraujan Dharmadhikari, has bid his resignation. He did not mention the reason.

Judge of the Bombay HC Satyaraujan Dharmadhikari resigns

14 February 2020 Current Affairs:The second senior-most judge of the Bombay High Court (HC), Justice Satyaraujan Dharmadhikari, has bid his resignation. He did not mention the reason.

Justice Dharmadhikari:
Justice Dharmadhikari was born in 1960. He gained his LLB from Bombay University. He enrolled as an Advocate in June 1983. He has served as a member of the Board of Studies on Law, University of Mumbai, and a member of the Disciplinary Committee of Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa.
In November 2003, he became the second senior-most judge of the High Court, after Chief Justice Pradeep Nandrajog. He was in line to be elevated as Chief Justice.
