Haryana’s town Ballabhgarh renamed as Balramgarh

  • Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced the renaming of Ballabgarh town in Faridabad as Balramgarh.

  • “Ballabgarh is a town and a sub-division in Haryana, was founded by Balram Singh in 1739. Ballabgarh means ‘the fort of Balram

  • In 2016, Manohar Lal Khattar renamed Gurgaon as Gurugram based on the history connection with Guru Dronacharya.
