First Airbus Training Centre in Asia to be set up in New Delhi
18 March 2017 Current Affairs: France based Aircraft maker Airbus will set up Asia’s first training facility for pilots and maintenance engineers in New Delhi.

Union Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju performed the ground-breaking ceremony for the training centre on March 17, 2017.

The centre will formed by the European aviation major Airbus.It is expected to beoperational by the end of 2018.

Vistara become the first client for this sentrs to provide training services to Vistara pilots for the A320 type aircraft for 5 years.
