Finance Minister Arun Jaitley introduces bill to amend Banking Regulation Act
25 July 2017 Current Affairs: The Banking Regulation (Amendment) Bill, 2017, was introduced in Lok Sabha by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.

The bill has a provision, which empowers Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to issue other directions for resolution, appoint or approve for appointment, authorities or committees to advise the banking companies for stressed asset resolution.

He introduced in Lok Sabha by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. The bill seeks to amend the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 and replace the Banking Regulation (Amendment) Ordinance.
