01 June 2016 Current Affairs: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has launched a mobile app through which city traders can register themselves with the VAT department of Delhi government, a move that is aimed at encouraging them to boost its tax collection.
This mobile application will ensure VAT registration within 24 hours of filing request. We have finished inspector raj by introducing several initiatives to benefit traders.
The 'DVAT M SEWA' mobile app will ensure ease of doing business in the national capital.
Due to this app, VAT inspector's visit at traders' business premises will not be required, instead they will have to upload a picture of their business premises in the app only.
