Delhi Development Authority (DDA) signs MoU for Master Plan 2041
21 July 2017 Current Affairs: The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA) for the preparation of Master Plan for Delhi 2041 as an enabling strategic plan and other related policies which would be the guiding framework for the planning and growth of the city.

Besides, the DDA approved the proposal of land use of tyre market at Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar. The market was relocated to streamline the traffic movement and facilitate pedestrian movement at Rani Jhansi Road and to allow for the widening of Kishan Ganj Road under the bridge.
