Central Government proposes rules to ban unruly flyers for over 2 years
05 May 2017 Current Affairs:

  • The government declared draft rules for a ‘no-fly list’ for banning unruly passengers. 

  • The government has come up with three levels of disruptions for flyers.

  • Level 1 is disruptive behaviour like physical gestures, abusive language which can lead to suspension for 3 months.

  • Level 2 is physically abusive behaviour like pushing, kicking, sexual harassment etc, which can lead to suspension for 6 months.

  • Level 3 is life-threatening behaviour and the suspension is 2 yrs or more.
