Asterix co-creator Albert Uderzo passed away

25 March 2020 Current Affairs:Albert Uderzo passed away on 24 March 2020. He died at the age of 92. He died due to a heart attack. He was the co-creator and illustrator behind the hugely popular of the Asterix comic books.

Albert Uderzo:
Albert Uderzo is a French comic book artist. He was born on 25 April 1927 in Fismes, France. He created the beloved Asterix comics in 1959 in collaboration with René Goscinny. The famous character was sold worldwide with more than 370m albums, 11 films, and an Asterix theme park. In 1985, he was awarded the Knight of the Legion of Honour. In 2005, he was inducted into the Eisner Award Hall of Fame, US and in 2007 he was awarded the Knight of the Order of the Netherlands Lion.
