Adani Power Inks Power Purchase Agreement with Bangladesh
10 November 2017 Current Affairs: Adani Power (Jharkhand) inked long-term pact with Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) to supply electricity from its upcoming 1,600 MW plant at Godda in Jharkhand.

It has signed a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) for the net capacity of 1,496 MW with BPDB for 25 years.

The power supply under the PPA will be made from a new  1,600 MW (2x800 MW) ultra-supercritical, coal-based power plant to be set up by Adani Power (Jharkhand).
