Aashman Taneja, a five-year-old boy, from Hyderabad has set the Guinness world record in Taekwondo for the most full contact knee strikes in one-hour non-stop.

Aashman Taneja sets Guinness world record in Taekwondo

14 January 2020 Current Affairs:Aashman Taneja, a five-year-old boy, from Hyderabad has set the Guinness world record in Taekwondo for the most full contact knee strikes in one-hour non-stop. 

Aashman Taneja:
Aashman is a Taekwondo player and an athlete at a very young age. He won silver in the USA World Open Taekwondo. He attempted the Guinness World Record for the most full contact knee strikes in one- hour non-stop and achieved more than 1200 knee strikes successfully. 

Taekwondo:
Taekwondo is an Asian (Korean) martial art and combative sport. It emphasizes head-height kicks, fast kicking techniques and jumping and spinning kicks. It was first developed and played during the 1940s.
