    Bank of Baroda (BoB) has declared Dighi Port chairman and managing director Vijay Goverdhandas Kalantri and his son Vishal Kalantri as wilful defaulters for owing close to Rs 3,334 crore to a consortium of 16 banks in the country that include BoB, while Bank of India is the lead lender.     Govt underpaid food subsidy bill by Rs 69,394 crore in Fiscal Year 2019

    The central government underpaid the food subsidy bill to Food Corporation of India (FCI) by Rs 69,394 crore during the year 2018-19. According to the Controller General of Accounts (CGA), central govt. paid only 74% of the total major subsidies during 2018-19 in comparison to the 83 percent payment made in 2017-18.     India to buy 100 more SPICE bombs, signed Rs 300 crore deal with Israel

    A new species of dung beetle discovered in Arunachal Pradesh’s Tawang district. The new discovery named ‘Enoplotrupes tawangensis’ is a 27-mm-long insect, relatively bigger than most dung beetles.
