  • Step 2: Enter your personal and contact details
  • Step 3: After the verification, a representative from the bank will get in touch with and ask guide you through the process
  • Step 4: You may have to submit KYC documents and income proof to get a Tamilnad Mercantile Bank credit card
  • Step 5: You can also visit the nearby Tamilnad Mercantile Bank branch to apply for a credit card

Tamilnad Mercantile Bank (TMB) Credit Card Status

The application status of TMB credit card can be checked by contacting the customer care team by dialing the toll-free number. Currently, the Tamilnad Mercantile Bank website does not offer an online facility to check the status of your credit card. So you will have to call the customer care in order to get information about your credit card application status.

Once you submit all the details you will receive the status of your TMB credit card application. Most of the time, the statuses will be like, ‘in process, dispatched, disapproved, on hold or no records found’. Based on the status you can take your call.

If the status is ‘In process’, then the bank is still reviewing your application and it will take a few more days to ship your credit card.

If the status is ‘Dispatched’, you would have received a message by then with the Airmail number of the booked shipment carrying your credit card. If you haven’t received any message, then you will probably receive it within the next 1 or 2 days. If it gets delayed, you can feel free to call the TMB customer care.

If your application is on hold, the bank may contact you via SMS or email asking you for some missing or additional details or about any other issue with your application. Once the issues are resolved, they will resume the card processing.

Tamilnad Mercantile Bank (TMB) Credit Card Bill Payment

TMB offers two methods to pay the credit card bills offline.

  1. By mailing a cheque or draft

  2. Through the National Automated Clearing House (NACH) facility

TMB credit card payment through cheque/draft: TMB credit cardholders can write a cheque or draft in favor of “TMB Card Number XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX”. That cheque should be sent to the mailing address mentioned on the reverse side of the TMB credit card statement.

Through NACH: The other method is the NACH facility, which saves the effort of issuing cheque every month towards the payment of the TMB credit card bill. Through this facility, cardholders can authorize TMB to deduct the amount, either total amount due or minimum amount due, directly from the savings or current bank account of another bank every month. The deducted amount will be credited to the credit card amount on the same date of payment due.

To avail the NACH facility, TMB cardholders need to fill the NACH form in which they will find an option to choose one of three payment options which include the minimum amount due, total amount due or fixed amount. The fully filled form should be sent to TMB credit cards division to activate the same.

TamilNad Mercantile Bank (TMB) Credit Card Netbanking:

TamilNad Mercantile Bank has found a new technology and brought efficient netbanking facility for its customers. You can transfer the fund through NEFT, RTGS, IMPS or UPI instead of writing cheques. How to Register for TMB credit card netbanking

  • Step 1: You will have to approach your Tamilnad Mercantile Bank branch with your bank details and registered mobile number.
  • Step 2: Fill up the details in the net banking form. Make sure you mention your mobile number accurately, as the same will be considered as “Registered Mobile Number” for future transactions.
  • Step 3: You can submit the filled in form at the branch. The bank will activate your registration shortly.
