Credit Limit

  1. When the customer exceeds the assigned credit limit, an over-limit fee will be levied by the bank, at a prevailing rate, once every billing cycle.
  2. The credit card will be not be invalidated if the credit cardholder exhausts the sanctioned credit limit. All transactions initiated by the user beyond the credit limit will be declined until the customer has no outstanding funds.

  • Specific criteria of Rs. 25,00,000 for a quarter has to be maintained by a Premier Banking customer.
  • The TRB will be calculated based on the following factors -
    1. The average balance held in HSBC savings or current account for one quarter.
    2. The average balance held in an HSBC fixed deposit account for a quarter.
    3. The market value of a customer’s investments or the net purchase value. (Quarterly).
    4. Value of paid life insurance premium (Quarterly)
    5. The market value of the demat holding held in the HSBC Depository account.
    6. The balance maintained in accounts belonging to family members can also be considered to meet the TRB criteria.
