Detailed Application Form (DAF) for UPSC Civil Services Mains Exam released:

On August 17, 2017, Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released Detailed Application Form (DAF) for Civil Services (Main) Examination. The UPSC Civil services Main (CSM) Examination is scheduled to be held on October 28, 2017. In order to participate in the Civil Services (Main) Examination, all candidates who have qualified Prelims exam have to fill up the DAF (Detailed Application Form) for Civil Services Main (CSM) Examination and submit it online along with the scanned copies of the required document. The DAF (CSM) is available from 17th August, 2017 to 31st August, 2017 till 6.00 P.M.

FEE:- Except Female/ SC/ ST/ PH candidates, other Candidates applying for Civil Services (Main) Examination are required to pay a fee of Rs.200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using Net Banking facility of SBI or by using Visa/ Master/ RuPay Credit/ Debit card. Last Date for paying Fee in offline mode is 30th August, 2017 and in online mode is  31st August, 2017.

UPSC Admit Card for Interview

Scheduled date for conducting UPSC CSE Interview is January 2018. So UPSC CSE Interview Admit Card will be available from December 2017 - January 2018. Interview will be conducted only for the candidates who secured enough cutoff marks in UPSC Mains - written Examination as decided by the UPSC. Usually, the number of candidates to be shortlisted for UPSC Civil Services Interview for each category (General, OBC, SC, ST, PWD) is around twice the total number of Vacancies to be filled through this year’s UPSC Civil Services Exam. The number may also go up, depending on the mains - written exam cutoff of this year.
