On February 19, 2019, Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has activated the link to apply for UPSC Civil services 2019 Exam, IAS/IFS Prelims Examination 2019 in the official website upsc.gov.in. UPSC civil services examination (CSE) 2019 preliminary level online examination will be conducted on June 2, 2019. UPSC IAS 2019 main examination will be conducted on September 20, 2019. UPSC preliminary Exam 2019 comprises of Paper-I and Paper-II, both of which are objective in nature. Paper-I consists of questions from current affairs, science and technology, history, culture, geography, indian polity and environment and ecology. UPSC civil services exam Paper-I carries a total of 400 marks. However, a candidate has only to qualify with minimum of 33 per cent marks in general studies paper-II.

UPSC Civil Services IFS Main Exam Time Table, Application Form 2018 released:The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the complete schedule as well as the DAF or Detailed Application Form for the Indian Forest Service (IFS) 2018 Main examination, on the official website upsconline.nic.in. UPSC Civil Services Mains Exam 2018 DAF Submission Begins:
On July 23, 2018, Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has activated the link for submission of online application for Civil Services Main Examination 2018. All candidates who are qualified in UPSC Civil Services IAS, IFS Prelims 2018 Exam should fill the DAF or Detailed Application Form on the official website www.upsc.gov.in to appear for the UPSC Civil Services Mains Exam 2018, which is scheduled to be held from September 28, 2018. Candidates can fill the UPSC Civil Services Mains 2018 Detailed Application Form (DAF) from July 23 to August 6, 2018. Candidates should upload the scanned copies of the required document within the prescribed time limit along with DAF. However, the OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates need to fill the OBC Annexure in online mode along with the Detailed Application Form. General Ability Test Consists of two Parts - Part A - English (for 200 marks) and Part B - General Knowledge (for 400 marks containing questions from Physics, Chemistry, General Science, Social Studies, Geography and Current Events). The papers in all the subjects will consist of objective type questions only. The question papers (Test Booklets) of Mathematics and Part B of General Ability Test will be set bilingually in Hindi as well as English. Candidates successful in the written exam are then called for an interview by a Services Selection Board.
