New update on March 2, 2020: UP Police Constable Result 2020: Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board on Monday declared the result of UP Police constable Recruitment exam 2019. The recruitment result of 49568 UP Police constables. The result will be updated on the website of Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board in a few hours. Out of the total selected candidates, 31360 (25394 Males and 5966 Female) will join civil police and 18208 will join Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC). The written examination for recruitment of constable was conducted on 27-28 January 2019, at various centers spread across the state. The result of which was later released in November 2019. Around 1.23 lakh candidates cleared the written exam and were called for the inspection of their academic records and physical standard test. On 20th November 2019, UP Police Constable Result 2019 has officially released by Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB). The Board conducted the written exam on 27th February and 28th February to fill 49568 vacancies for the Constable post. Candidates who appeared for the written exam, PET and PST, can download the UP Police Constable Final Result 2019 from the link provided below. The UP Police Board has released the result 2019 for 49568 vacancies for the post of constable in Civil Police and PAC. The UPPRPB has released the cut off list, which is 2.5 times the actual vacancies, and those candidates will now appear for physical exam and document verification. In case if the selected candidates could not qualify in the final selection, then based on the merit list the candidates will be called for the exam.  Last year the UP Police Constable vacancies were announced in October in which 49668 constables are to be hired by the board directly through the examination procedure. Among the total vacancies, 31,360 vacancies are allotted for constables in Civil Police, while 18,208 vacancies are allotted for Constables in PAC. Due to the Supreme Cort order, UPPRPB has released a new list of selected candidates for the post of Constable and Fireman on its official website uppbpb.gov.in. The new list contains 3,295 candidates selected for further process. Earlier, in April 2018, UPPRPB stated that it would reconduct the document verification and medical exam for 13,479 candidates who qualified in the constable nad fireman recruitment notified in 2013. The UP Police Constable and Fireman Mains exam happened on 1st December 2013. Then the board conducted the DV and Medical Exam from 27th March to 13th April 2015. The DV and Medical Exam result was declared on 16th July 2015. 

But on 5th September 2017, a writ petition was filled in relation to horizontal reservation and court to reconduct the document verification and medical exam for 13,743 candidates. Among these 13,479 candidates, 4655 candidates are Non-Reserved General, 5977 candidates are Oher Backward category, 2605 candidates are ST, and 242 candidates are ST. Considering this UPPRPB conducted the DV and Medical Exam across the state on 23rd April 2018.
