SSC Junior Engineer JE Tier I 2017 Exam Result:

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has recently released the Junior Engineer JE Tier I Result in its official website Junior Engineers (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contract) Examination, 2017 was conducted by the Commission from January 22 to 29, 2018 in various centres all over the country. The Descriptive Paper (Paper-II) of Junior Engineers Examination 2017 will be conducted on April 29, 2018.

SSC CGL Tier II Exam Date Postponed:

The Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL Tier-II), 2017, earlier scheduled to be held from 18.1.2018 to 20.1.2018, has been postponed and will now be held from 17.2.2018 to 22.2.2018. SSC CGL Tier II Admit card 2017-18 will be released on first week of February, 2018.

Similarly, The Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff MTS Examination (Paper-II), 2016, will be held on 28.1.2018. The Junior Engineers shortly, JE Examination (Paper-I), 2017, earlier scheduled to be held from 22.1.2018 to 25.1.2018, will now be held from 22.1.2018 to 29.1.2018 (There will be no examination on 26th and 28th January 2018).

The SSC CGL Examination will be conducted in four tiers as follows:

  • Tier -II -- Online Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)

SSC CGL Exam Structure for Tier I, II, & III

SSC CGL Tier I Exam Pattern

SSC CGL Tier I examination will be conducted in Computer based Examination mode. In order to promote to attend Tier II & further process, you need to qualify the Tier I exam. There will be no sectional cut-off in Tier I exam. For SSC CGL Tier I Examination , there will be 100 multiple choice questions from the subjects of “General Intelligence, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and English”. SSC CGL Tier II Exam Pattern

SSC CGL Tier II examination will be conducted in Computer based Examination mode. Tier-II of the examination consists of 4 papers in total. Duration of each paper is 2 hours. There will be no sectional cut-off.
  • Paper-I & II are compulsory for all the categories of posts.
  • Paper-III is only for those candidates who apply for the post of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO)
  • Paper IV is only for those candidates who apply for the post of Assistant Audit Officer (AAO)/Assistant Accounts Officer(AAO)

Negative Marking:- The negative marking system of 0.25 for each wrong answer in paper II (English Language & Comprehension) of Tier-II and 0.50 for each wrong answer in Paper-I, Paper III and Paper IV of Tier II.
The marks obtained by the candidates in Tier I & Tier II, together, would determine the eligibility of the candidates to appear in Tier III & Tier IV of the CGL exam.

SSC CGL Tier III Exam Pattern

SSC CGL Tier III examination will be conducted in Pen and Paper mode (i.e., Offline Mode). In this Tier III Exam, You have to write Essays, Letter, etc, in either English or Hindi Language. Total Marks allotted for this Tier III Exam is 100. You have to finish this exam within 60 mins. This Tier III exam is conducted to check your Language Skill proficiency.
