SSC CGL Exam Expected to be held on March | Check out important dates here

SSC CGL 2019 Exam will be conducted officially by the Staff Selection Commission. Candidates who are waiting for SSC CGL dates can check out the official website. Candidates can get the computer-based format during the period from March 2 to March 11 (tentatively). Staff Selection Commission would release the complete exam schedule later. Candidates can check the registration process for the exam would close the online application portal for the CGL exam registration on November 25. Candidates have not registered yet can apply online at ssc.nic.in.
The SSC CGL exam will be based on the computer-based test, descriptive paper test and skill test. The computer-based test is scheduled for March in the coming year will be held at two successive levels and would assess the academic merit of the candidate. The difficulty level of the questions ranges from matriculation level till graduation level. Staff Selection Commission completed the selection process for the 2017 CGL exam on November 15. 8,120 candidates have been recommended for appointment by SSC as against 8,121 vacancies.


SSC CGL 2019 Notification Released

SSC will release the SSC CGL 2019 Notification today (22nd October 2019). Candidates can apply for SSC CGL 2019 from 22nd October to 22nd November 2019 on its official website @ ssc.nic.in. All selected candidates will be appointed in Group B and C level posts across government departments. The SSC CGL application link will be active till 22nd November 2019. The selection process for SSC CGL will be of computer-based and will happen from 2nd to 11th March 2020. Every year around 20-30 lakh candidates apply for SSC CGL. Last year 25.97 lakh candidates applied for the exam, but only 8.37 lakh candidates appeared for the exam. SSC CGL 2019 Eligibility Criteria:

Age: From last year, i.e., from 2018, the minimum age limit to appear for the exam was 18 years. Earlier the age limit was 20 years. Once SSC releases the notification, candidates can get a clear idea about the eligibility. Once the information is released.

Candidates should hold Graduation level (any course) from a recognized institute can appear for the exam.

SSC Junior Engineer JE Tier I 2017 Exam Result:

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has recently released the Junior Engineer JE Tier I Result on its official website, ssc.nic.in. Junior Engineers (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Quantity Surveying & Contract) Examination, 2017, was conducted by the Commission from 22nd January to 29, 2018, in various centres all over the country. SSC CGL Tier-II Exam Date Postponed:

The Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL Tier-II), 2017, earlier scheduled to be held from 18.1.2018 to 20.1.2018, has been postponed and will now be held from 17.2.2018 to 22.2.2018. SSC CGL Tier-II Admit card 2017-18 will be released in the first week of February 2018.

Similarly, The Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff MTS Examination (Paper-II), 2016, will be held on 28.1.2018. The Junior Engineers shortly, JE Examination (Paper-I), 2017, earlier scheduled to be held from 22.1.2018 to 25.1.2018, will now be held from 22.1.2018 to 29.1.2018 (There will be no examination on 26th and 28th January 2018).

SSC CGL Tier I Exam Pattern

SSC CGL Tier I examination will be conducted in Computer-based Examination mode. To promote to attend Tier II & further process, you need to qualify the Tier I exam. There will be no sectional cut-off in the Tier I exam. For SSC CGL Tier I Examination, there will be 100 multiple choice questions from the subjects of “General Intelligence, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and English.” Each section contains 25 questions. SSC CGL Tier-II Exam Pattern

SSC CGL Tier-II examination will be conducted in Computer-based Examination mode. Tier-II of the examination consists of 4 papers in total. The duration of each paper is 2 hours. There will be no sectional cut-off.

  • Paper-I & II are compulsory for all the categories of posts.

  • Paper-III is only for those candidates who apply for the post of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO)

  • Paper IV is only for those candidates who apply for the post of Assistant Audit Officer (AAO)/Assistant Accounts Officer(AAO)

Negative Marking:- The negative marking system of 0.25 for each wrong answer in paper II (English Language & Comprehension) of Tier-II and 0.50 for each wrong answer in Paper-I, Paper III, and Paper IV of Tier II.

The marks obtained by the candidates in Tier I & Tier II, together, would determine the eligibility of the candidates to appear in Tier III & Tier IV of the CGL exam.

SSC CGL Tier III Exam Pattern

SSC CGL Tier III examination will be conducted in Pen and Paper mode (i.e., Offline Mode)In this Tier III Exam, You have to write Essays, Letter, etc., in either English or Hindi Language. Total Marks allotted for this Tier III Exam is 100. You have to finish this exam within 60 mins. This Tier III exam is conducted to check your Language Skill proficiency.
