Ordnance Factory Admit Card for Group C Phase I Released:
On August 22, 2017, The Ordnance Factory Recruitment Centre (OFRC) of Ordnance Factory Board (OFB) released the first phase (Phase I) written examination admit card for candidates who applied for the direct recruitment of around 3,500+ Vacancies under the posts of semi-skilled grade Industrial Employees (IEs) Group 'C'
in different trades and Labour Group 'C'
in various Ordnance Factories located across India. The Phase I written examination for Group 'C' posts is scheduled to be held on September 10, 2017.

How to regain forgotten Registration Number to get Ordnance Factory Admit card?
If candidates forgot their Registration Number for Ordnance Factory Examination, then follow the below steps

Indian Ordnance Factory - Selection procedure for Group C posts:
Selection process of Industrial Employees (IEs) and Labour Group 'C' shall comprise of a 2 stage process:
- Written examination of 100 marks, objective type and OMR based
- Trade Test (Practical) at respective factory along with document verification
There will be no interview for these posts.
Indian Ordnance Factory - Written exam Pattern for Group C posts:
The examination will be trilingual, i.e., Hindi, English and regional language of the State where the factory against which the candidate has applied is located. The Phase I Written Exam for Group C posts is conducted in Offline mode. The Indian Ordnance Factory Group C Written Exam comprises of one paper of fully Objective-Multiple-choice type questions of maximum 100 marks. All the Questions will be compulsory. There will be no negative marking
for wrong answer.
The paper will consist of two parts:
- PART -A will consist of 20 marks having questions on General Science and Quantitative Aptitude, each having weightage of 10 marks. The question will be of up to 10th Standard.
- PART - B will consist of 80 marks of NCVT syllabus for the relevant trade.

Indian Ordnance Factory - Syllabus for Group C posts:
Syllabus for Semi Skilled Industrial Employee Group C posts:
Question will be aimed at testing the candidate's General awareness of the environment around him. Question will also be designed to test knowledge of basic science studied upto 10th standard and would include such matters of everyday observations and experience as may be expected of any educated person.
The candidate will be tested for general mathematics of upto 10th Standard involving number systems, equations in two variables, simple and compound interest, perimeter, area and volume of geometrical figures, Direct and inverse proportions, Pythagoras theorem and trigonometry.
Questions from the NCVT Syllabus of relevant trade.
The syllabus for trade test (Practical) will be as per trade test specification of semiskilled grade of the relevant trade, trade test will be merely qualifying nature. It will not decide the merit of the selected candidates. The merit will be decided solely based on the results of written examination.

The questions on science may be set keeping in view the standard appropriate to High School. Questions may include subjects and activities which are more relevant to day-to-day existence/ activities of human life.

As per trade test specifications, an unskilled workman will be mainly engaged on handling/ shifting of material. He will also be required to clean machines, floors of shop/ areas around machines and other similar places, if and as necessary. The trade test may be designed accordingly to test the aptitude of the candidate. However, this test will be of qualifying nature only.
