UPSC NDA Admit Card

NDA is the first tri-service academy in the world and admission in the academy is done by Written Exam (Offline mode) and Two Stage Selection Process. For the Written Examination, the candidates will be issued an e-Admit Card, which serves as an entry proof to take the Entrance Exam. Candidates who don't hold the Admit Card are strictly prohibited from taking the Exam. The table below gives important dates to be noted.

  • The e-Admit Card (Online mode only) will be released only to those candidates whose application is being processed by UPSC.
  • Admit card will be issued (Online) three weeks prior to the commencement of the Exam and will not be sent by post to any of the candidates.
  • Candidates are expected to carry the printout of the Admit Card and also a printout of important instructions (which must be read well in advance) to the Exam.
  • To avoid last-minute accessing problems to the site, candidates are advised to download the Admit Card well in advance. For details on exam dates, check NDA Exam Date.

UPSC has released the Admit card for UPSC NDA II Exam (for admission in Army, Naval, and Air Force Wings of National Defence Academy (NDA) and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy). The Admit Card was released on August 14, 2017, and will be available until September 10, 2017. Candidates can download the Admit Card from the link given below.

Allotment of Centres is based on the first-cum first-allot basis, as the allotment is seized once the capacity of the Centre is attained. Candidates by no means can request for change of Centre.

UPSC NDA Admit Card - How to Download

UPSC has given two options to download the Admit Card i.e. (i) by using Registration ID or (ii) by using Roll Number. Candidates are requested to read through the instructions before proceeding with the Admit Card download.
  • Enter Registration ID, Date of Birth and the Secure captcha code. The Admit Card will be displayed on the screen. Candidates are asked to cross check the details and any discrepancies are noted to UPSC.
  • Enter Roll Number, Date of Birth and the Secure captcha code and proceed with the download process
Candidates are advised to take extra copies of Admit card for future use. Candidates are also advised to take a printout of the "Important instructions to the Candidate" and carry it along with the Admit Card to the Exam. Admit Card can also be downloaded using Name, Father's Name and Date of Birth. NDA Admit Card holds all the necessary information about the Candidate and the Exam. The information/details found in NDA Admit Card are:

  • Name of the candidate
  • Date of Birth of candidate
  • Photograph of the candidate
  • Exam/Test venue
  • Address of the Exam/Test venue
  • Date of the Examination
  • Timing of the examination
  • Important Instructions list (To be carried along with the Admit Card)

Importance of NDA Admit Card

  • Candidate will not be allowed to take the examination unless he holds a certificate of admission (Admit Card) for the examination.
  • Candidates can get the NDA 2017 Admit Card through Online mode only and no other mode is made available to get the Admit Card.
  • Admit Card is released only for those candidates who have completed all the steps of registration and whose application was processed.
  • On receipt of e-Admit Card, check it carefully and bring discrepancies/errors, if any, to the notice of the UPSC immediately.
  • The Important Instructions that comes along with the Admit Card is to be read by candidates well in advance, as it holds guidelines that are to be followed in the Entrance Exam.
  • In case the photograph is not printed clearly or not visible, candidates are advised to carry two identical photographs along with proof of identity.

Discrepancies in NDA Admit Card

If a candidate does not receive his e-Admit Card or any other communication regarding his candidature for the examination one week before the commencement of the examination, he should at once contact the Commission. Information in this regard can also be obtained from the Facilitation Counter located in the Commission’s Office either in person or over the phone (Contact Nos. 011-23385271/011-23381125/011-23098543 Extn 4119, 4120). In case no communication is received in the Commission’s Office from the candidate regarding non-receipt of his e-Admit Card at least one week before the examination, he himself will be solely responsible for nonreceipt of his e-Admit Card.

NDA Admit Card - Other Details

The decision of the Commission as to the acceptance of the application of a candidate and his eligibility or otherwise for admission to the Examination shall be final.
Candidates should note that the name on the e-Admit Card in some cases, may be abbreviated due to technical reasons.
No duplicate Admit Cards will be issued under any circumstances after the commencement of the Exam.
Candidates must ensure that their e-mail ID given in their online applications is valid and active.
The courses to which the candidates are admitted will be according to their eligibility as per educational qualifications for different courses and the preferences given by the candidates.
