On December 20, 2018, Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination Council (JEEC-UP) has released the Online Application Form for JEECUP 2019 [UP Joint Entrance Examination (Polytechnic) - 2019] Exam, which is scheduled to be held on April 28, 2019, in two shifts. Candidates who wish to get admission in Diploma / Post – Diploma / Post – Graduate Diploma in Engineering, Technology and Management Programs in Uttar Pradesh Polytechnic Institutions in the session 2019-20, can fill their JEECUP 2019 application form from 20th December 2018 to 28th February 2019 through online mode at jeecup.nic.in. The UP Polytechnic 2019 Application form has been released separately for Group A and Group B to K. Candidates required to upload scanned images in jpeg format of their recent passport size photograph, signature and thumb impression in the UP Polytechnic 2019 Application Form. JEECUP 2019 application fee is Rs.300 for General/ OBC category, whereas, Rs. 200 in case of SC/ ST category candidates.

JEECUP 2019 application form submission process began on 20th December 2018 and the last date to fill JEECUP 2019 Application Form is 28th February 2019. JEECUP 2019 is scheduled to be held on April 28, 2019, in two shifts.

UP Polytechnic JEECUP Eligibility Criteria 2019:

Before filling JEECUP Online Application Form 2018, Candidates are recommended to carefully go through the eligibility criteria. Following are the essential Eligibility Criteria, which are officially announced for Candidates who wish to apply for the JEECUP 2018 Entrance Exam.
Age limit: Minimum Age Limit is 14 years as on July 1, 2019. There is no upper age limit.

D Modern Office Management & Secretarial Practice 12th passed/ appearing and should have Hindi and English subjects at 10th or 12th level.

E Diploma in Pharmacy 12th passed with science  and must obtain minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST)
F Post Graduate Diploma in Biotechnology (Tissue culture) B.Sc. passed/ appearing with Biology, Chemistry/ Biochemistry
G Post Graduate Diploma course Graduate in any stream (passed/ appearing)
H Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology 12th passed/ appearing and must obtain minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST).
I Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering 12th passed/ appearing with science subject and must obtain 50% marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
*PH/Colour-blind candidates not allowed.
J Post Diploma in Information Technology Engineering diploma passed/ appearing from an institution affiliated by BTEUP.
K1 to K8 Lateral Entry in Engineering & Technology Diploma Course 12th passed or ITI

JEECUP Exam Pattern and Syllabus 2019:

Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination ie., JEECUP 2019 exam will be conducted in offline mode ie., pen and paper based mode and will include a total of 100 objective type questions. The total time duration is 3 hours. 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer. For every incorrect attempt, 1 mark will be deducted. All objective Questions will be asked in both English and Hindi. JEECUP syllabus for 2019 Exam will be of 10th or 12th class standard.

The topics covered in the JEECUP 2019 entrance exam will vary as per the courses opted by the candidate. For engineering, the syllabus will comprise of mathematics, physics and chemistry subjects. For Diploma in Pharmacy, questions will be asked from physics, chemistry and biology/ mathematics subjects.

JEECUP Counselling 2019 and Seat Allotment Process:

JEECUP 2019 Counselling process will be conducted in online mode. Only those candidates who qualify in JEECUP 2019 Entrance Exam are eligible to apply for counselling process. UP Polytechnic 2019 counselling and seat allotment process include following steps:
  • Step 1:- Online Registration
  • Step 2:- Counselling Fee Payment
  • Step 3:- Online Choice Filling and Locking
  • Step 4:- Seat Allotment
  • Step 5:- Reporting and Document Verification
  • Step 6:- Confirmation and Admission to Allotted Institute

Step 1:- Online Registration:

The first step for appearing in JEECUP Counselling process is to register in online mode. It is necessary for each and every JEECUP  2019 qualified candidate to register separately for JEECUP Counselling 2019. To register online for JEECUP Counselling process, follow the below steps:
1. Click on the official link of JEECUP e-counselling Online Registration and Choice Filling
2. Now, click on the link “New Registration for Counselling”
3. Enter the following details as mentioned in the Candidate’s JEECUP Admit Card for Entrance Exam:
  • Roll Number,
  • Application Number,
  • Candidate Name,
  • Date of Birth,
4. Then, Click on the submit button.

Step 2:- Counselling Fee Payment:

After filling above mentioned essential details, candidates need to pay the JEECUP 2019 counselling fee of Rs. 250 through either debit/credit card or net banking. Alternately, the candidate can also pay the JEECUP Counselling fee through e-challan. The JEECUP Counselling Fees paid will be non-refundable.

Step 3:- Online Choice Filling and Locking:

In this stage, candidates will have to choose courses and institutes according to their preference and fill them in the online form. Candidates will have the facility to choose multiple choices of courses and colleges as per their wish to receive admission. Candidates are advised to keep the most prioritized course and college at the top and move the lesser prioritized choices towards the end. After filling courses and colleges choices, Candidates need to lock the filled choices for future. Once filled choices are locked by the candidates, they will not be allowed to change it. After confirmation, Candidates are advised to take a print out of the filled and locked choices.

Step 4:- Seat Allotment:

JEECUP 2019 Seat allotment is done on the basis of ranks obtained by the candidates in the JEECUP 2019 entrance exam and their choices of courses as well as colleges opted by them during the JEECUP Counselling registration process. Candidates who are satisfied with their allotment, will need to freeze it. Such candidates will have to pay the Seat Acceptance Fee of Rs. 3000, which will be adjusted with the admission fee at the time of admission at the allotted institute.

Step 5:- Reporting and Document Verification:

Candidates who have been allocated a seat in any of the four JEECUP Counselling rounds, will have to physically report to the Reporting Centre (RC) within the given schedule. At the reporting centre, the candidates will have to get their documents verified and pay the seat acceptance fee via Debit/Credit card or e-challan facility.

Step 6:- Confirmation and Admission to Allotted Institute:

After getting documents verified at the Reporting centre, Candidates should report to the allotted institute within the specified time period to finalize their provisional seat allotment. Candidates will be required to carry both original and photocopies of the below mentioned documents to the institute. If a candidate fails to report at the specified institute within specified time period after document verification, then the provisional admission of such candidate will be withdrawn.

What are the documents to be carried to the reporting centres and allotted institute?

Candidates have to mandatorily carry all the following documents in original, along with two set of photocopies (xerox copies) and two passport size photographs.
  • 10th marksheet & certificate
  • 12th marksheet & certificate
  • JEECUP admit card 2019
  • JEECUP Result/Score Card 2019.
  • Counselling call letter
  • Transfer certificate
  • Character certificate
  • Category certificate (if applicable)
  • Domicile Certificate
  • Reservation Certificate (if applicable)

On June 13, 2018, Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has announced JEECUP 1st Round Seat Allotment Result 2018 on their official website jeecup.org. All candidates who have filled and locked their choices in JEECUP UP Polytechnic 1st Round Seat Allotment Counselling 2018 can download their seat allotment result after 12:10 PM from the below provided direct official link. The respective candidates are advised to report at the allotted college from 14th to 19th June 2018.
