IGNOU B.Ed., MBA Entrance Exam 2019 Hall Ticket Released:

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has recently released the hall tickets for the 2019 entrance examinations to grant admission to Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme and MBA programme (through MBA entrance exam - OPENMAT) respectively. Both the entrance examinations will be OMR-based i.e, offline mode and will be objective in nature. Candidates who have successfully applied for the IGNOU B.Ed, MBA entrance exam 2019 can download their admit card from the direct official link provided below. Candidates need to enter their Control number or Mobile number registered at the time of application and their date of birth to download the IGNOU B.Ed., MBA Entrance Exam January 2019 Hall Ticket. IGNOU OPENMAT Entrance Test 2019 is is conducted for admission to six management courses offered by the university, which are

IGNOU Admit Card for December 2018 Exam Releasing Soon:

Indira Gandhi Open University (IGNOU) will release IGNOU Hall Ticket for TEE (Term End Exam) December 2018 Exam soon. IGNOU Term End December Exam 2018 will commence from December 01, 2018 to December 31, 2018. The candidates who will appear for the IGNOU 2018 December examinations can download their admit card through the below provided direct link of official website ignou.ac.in. In case candidates are unable to download the IGNOU 2018 hall ticket, they can contact the regional centre and obtain the information of examination centre allocated.They need to bring a proof of submission of the entrance test application form along with recent passport size photograph. Usually IGNOU releases the hall tickets atleast 10 days before the exam schedule.

IGNOU Admit card for OPENMAT, Nursing and B.Ed will be released separately on different dates. Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) conducts entrance exams to admit students every year. Separate entrance exams are conducted for Management (MBA), Education (B.Ed/M.Ed) and Nursing courses. The IGNOU entrance exams will be held twice every year in two sessions, one session in January and the other in July. By qualifying the exams, the candidates can get admitted into the various diploma, degree (Bachelor/Masters), certificate, and doctorate courses in various fields. When will be the IGNOU admit card released?

The candidates will be given IGNOU admit card while they appear for the IGNOU entrance exams. Candidates will receive the IGNOU admit card for the entrance exam by one week prior to the exam. In case of failure of admit card reception, candidates can collect the IGNOU admit card via online mode. The admit card will be available on the Official Website before three days of the exam. While appearing for the entrance exam, the candidate must provide their admit card. If the candidates are not able to download the IGNOU admit card, they can collect the admit card at nearest Common Service Centre (CSC)/ Regional centre by paying Rs. 5. On the day of the examination, along with the IGNOU admit card, the candidates must bring:
  • a photo ID proof
  • photocopy of the filled-in Application Form
The candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall or take the entrance exam if they fail to bring the above-mentioned documents.

What are the important dates for IGNOU entrance exam?

Candidates who want to pursue their education in IGNOU should be well aware of the event dates, i.e,  from the release date of the notification to the date of joining of the course. How to download IGNOU admit card?

Once the IGNOU online admission process gets over IGNOU will publish the list of candidates for the respective courses. The candidates who have successfully applied and whose names are shortlisted are required to take the IGNOU entrance exam. The selected list of candidates will be available on the Official site. Along with the hall tickets for those candidates who have to take up the exam will also be published along with the list. Follow the steps given below to download your IGNOU Hall Ticket. While downloading the admit card, the candidate should make sure that he/she has the photocopy of the filled in application form.
Steps to download IGNOU admit card:
  • Visit the IGNOU Official site.
  • A page which requests the Application No./Login Id and Date of Birth will appear
  • Enter Application No./Login Id and Date of Birth
  • Click on the Submit button
  • Upon submission, the IGNOU admit card will be displayed.
Candidates must print the IGNOU admit card. Candidates without the hard copy of admit card will not be allowed to appear for the Entrance Exam.
If there occurs any problem while downloading the IGNOU admit card, the candidate can verify the issue in the nearby CSC. In the CSC, the candidates can avail help and get their admit card by paying Rs.5.

What are the details available in IGNOU admit card?

In the IGNOU admit card, details about the respective exam will be provided. The candidates are asked to read through the instructions that are given along with the IGNOU admit card for details regarding the written exam. The details comprised in the IGNOU admit card are:
  • Enrollment number
  • Control number
  • Name of the candidate
  • Exam centre code/address
  • Course code
  • Exam date and session
Candidates must verify the details provided in the IGNOU admit card. The hard copy of the admit card should be carried to appear for the entrance exam.

What are documents needed along with the IGNOU admit card?

When appearing for the IGNOU Entrance Exam, the candidates must have the hard copy of the IGNOU admit card. On failing, the candidates will not be allowed to appear for the entrance exam. Along with the admit card, candidates must bring a photo ID proof and the filled in application form. Valid ID proof that will be accepted are:

What is the exam pattern for IGNOU?

IGNOU entrance exam is conducted for the admission process in the Varsity. The exam pattern varies with respect to the preferred stream/course. The syllabus will vary for the different courses. Generally, the main examination will be held for 100 marks with a duration of 3 hours or for 50 marks with a duration of 2 hours. The exam will constitute of Multiple Choice Questions. Candidates are asked to go through the exam pattern and syllabus for various IGNOU entrance exams like M.Phil and Ph.D., OPENMAT, NET. The candidates must prepare for the respective syllabus and verify with the exam pattern in advance for appearing the IGNOU entrance exam.

When will be the results announced?

Candidates can check the IGNOU entrance exam result through online mode in the Official website. The result will be published in a few days after the completion of the IGNOU entrance exam. Candidates have to enter their hall ticket number to view the result. If the candidate qualifies by securing the cutoff decided by the Varsity, he/she can be admitted in IGNOU for the preferred course. The cutoff for the IGNOU entrance exam will be released by the IGNOU University. Cut off mark is the minimum marks decided by the university passing which the candidate will be provided admission into various courses.

When will the IGNOU Admission 2019 begin?

The process for the IGNOU admission 2019 will begin soon after the declaration of the result. Regional merit list will be prepared by the University. Candidates will be called for selecting the choice filling process on the basis of regional merit list. IGNOU Regional Centers will conduct the counselling procedure for the admission of the candidates for different courses. At the end of the counselling process, the original documents and certificates of the candidates will be verified. The admission will be confirmed only after the verification at the IGNOU counselling. The reporting date will be announced by IGNOU. Candidates should report in the allotted Institution within a given time period to confirm their seat.
